Providing

Academic Excellence

Covenant Community School Academics

At Covenant Community School we believe in providing an education that touches a child while maintaining a high level academic standard. We break our academic approach into 3 pillars:

Stone vs Brick Method, Academic Excellence, and a Christ Centered Classroom. Learn more about our core pillars below.

1. Stone vs. Bricks Approach

Covenant Community School believes that God makes stones and man makes bricks. Each child is fearfully and wonderfully made. Because of this, we provide individualized academic pathways based on the student’s and family’s desires, passions, and academic and personal strengths.

Whether the student desires to continue their education at a university/college level or has a desire to enter into a trade school or the work force, we are positioning each child to win.

Relational Education

One of the key components of education is relationship. We intend that our teachers serve as mentors with exemplary Godly character, demonstrating excellence in their subject area starting in kindergarten through twelfth grade. Covenant Community School has a distinctive trust relationship between the school, teacher, and parents.

  • Our teacher to student ratio is 18:1, which allows our teachers to not only develop individual relationships, but maintain the quality of instructional time.

  • Our students are provided with daily opportunities to learn within a condensed group of classmates, allowing independent evaluation, as well team-building development.

  • Open communication is a vital part of any successful partnership. We utilize multiple forms of open communication with students and parents through weekly e-mails, take home communication folders, and quarterly conferences.

2. Academic Excellence

Covenant Community School believes that the spirit of excellence should be evident in our academics.

We accomplish this by holding ourselves to a standard of excellence in the classroom through cutting edge technology, challenging curriculum, and engaging classroom instruction.

Whether the student desires to continue their education at a university/college level or has a desire to enter into a trade school or the work force, we are positioning each child to win.

Christ Centered Classroom

Biblical Worldview

In holding true to our vision, we diligently seek curriculum that is biblically based and re-enforces strong Christian values.

  • Beginning at the foundation of their eduction, students are exposed to the word of God through stories from the bible, scripture memory, and biblical principles taught in and out of the classroom.

Bible courses are tailored to a child’s grade level, and assist each student as they develop their own personal relationship with Jesus Christ, their instructors, and peers.

  • Beginning in the 6th grade, Covenant Community School students receive their bible component through the Life Applications course. Life Applications is the cornerstone of Covenant Community School. Students are discipled through Biblical principles, financial literacy, and social etiquette.

Our Life Applications course expounds upon the foundational principles found within the bible and makes it applicable to every day life.
